Connecting Meettell to your audio system

You should connect the Meettell session server to the audio system of the event’s room to enable participants to use the event’s audio system through their mobile phones. If you are using a PC , laptop or tablet computer as a Meettell session server, you have to connect the computer audio output with the audio system of the event room.

To do this you would need the audio cable with audio mini jack connector 3.5mm (1/8 inch) on one side (computer side) and the audio connector used by the audio system in the event’s room on the other side. You should always check the audio adapter in the event room to provide the necessary connection cable.

XLR connector plugs (Cannon plugs)

If the XLR connector plugs, also known as Cannon plugs, are used in room’s professional audio cabling installations you should use the necessary XLR connector or alternatively you can use the jack to A3M XLR plug adapter/transformer.

Audio jack connector plugs

An audio jack connector 6.35mm (quarter inch) or mini jack connector 3.5mm (1/8 inch) may be used. In this case you would need jack to jack connection cable.

You can use different adapters to meet the requirement about the size and the type (male/female) of the connector needed to connect to the event’s room audio system.

RCA connector plugs

If there is an adapter panel with RCA connectors, also known as phono connectors or phono plugs, you would need an RCA connector on the other side of your connection cable (usually a male connector is needed).

You can use the RCA to jack adapter to connect your jack-to-jack cable to the RCA adapter panel.

BNC connector plugs

If there is a BNC (Bayonet Neill Concelman) connector panel you would need an jack to RCA connection cable.

You can use the BNC to jack adapter to connect your jack-to-jack connection cable to the RCA adapter panel.
